Why did the cookie go to the doctor?

Because he felt crummy!!

How many people struggle with portion control? I know I do, especially with sweets. When you make a batch of cookies, only cook what you are going to eat at that time & freeze the rest. Get some wax paper & put the cookies on it just like you would a baking pan. Stick them in the freezer for about 30 minutes. Then, remove from the wax paper, put into a freezer bag & put back in the freezer. When you want a cookie (or 2) you can easily remove them from the bag & bake as you normally would. It's amazing how much longer a batch of cookies lasts when I'm not tempted by a whole Tupperware full of baked ones.

Who's tha knockin on my Teepee?

Neighbors & roommates come in all shapes and sizes. The first being my 2 beautiful sisters & parents. Taught me a lot about respect of others space and things. While it may be convenient at times to wear similar sizes, I remember the times it wasn't, what-so-ever, convenient AT ALL!

Then off to college at SRU - my roommate & dorm mates at good ol' North Hall. The one & only all girls dorm on campus. Though I didn't spend much time there the first month or two, opting to spend most of my time in Founders (co-ed), I ended up making friendships I still have to this day & filled a void of missing my sisters.
 My roommate - Sam

Then I rented a room in a house full of boys (COMPLETELY false advertising on the landlord's end). I learned a lot about tolerance & (never having brothers) how DIRTY boys can be! The best part was living an alley (& a railroad tie) away from the Rugby House.

Scott & Casey

Then, off to Keister Apts on the other end of campus. Two of the sisters Kelley were reunited once again, along with Meg & Kyleen. We ate lots of rice cakes & peanut butter & drank beer like it was free. It was a constant party. Ironically, this was my best year academically. Which was definitely due, in part, to Chris becoming a big part of my life. It was during this time that we got engaged & I decided to move to Atlanta.

Ky, MegT & Shan

Ky - 606 Q

Which somehow has all led to my current roommate - my husband! I think we have gone through the whole spectrum of issues & compromising. I used to believe the only (& best) way to do something was my way. I've, albeit slowly, learned there is more than one way to do most things & he doesn't intentionally fold my socks wrong. :)

Netflix + Ice Storm

Netflix has streaming movies & tv shows - this is wonderful, as long as you don't like good movies or recent TV shows. Finished the first season of Califonication - hunkered down in front of the TV to start Season 2 & What the Sam Hill - it was NO LONGER AVAILABLE in streaming. UGH! So, after an hour of searching through all the titles, debating (Chris said no comedy, I wanted a Thriller), grunting, napping (that would be me) we finally settled on Alice In Wonderland. I was quickly greeted with my own version of Wonderland as the movie was a real snoozer.

For tonight - we are in luck as the roads were clear enough for the Postman to deliver our delight of the night:
Not in Blu-Ray - but hey, we'll take it. Cheers!
